中村 圭 / Kei Nakamura

Kei NAKAMURA

Kei Nakamura’s bamboo crafts embody his philosophy of “creating pieces that convey the beauty of bamboo.” His work showcases the elegance and flexibility of the material through masterful techniques such as shaving, polishing, bending, and weaving. By harvesting bamboo himself and carefully processing it from raw material to finished product, he achieves an exceptional level of craftsmanship.

At Rakudo-An, Nakamura’s bamboo crafts are used as key holders for each room.
